Utilis is up to 24 times stronger than standard plastic pipes and retains its shape under heavy loads, allowing it to be installed shallower, which of course saves costs.

With the compartmentalised multicable tubes, you transport much more available cable space than with regular casing tubes. Its compact shape makes it a transport-friendly solution, allowing you to carry many metres in one trip. (With nine compartments, this amounts to an average of 3,888 metres per truck).

The Utilis 4-fold multichannel has 4 compartments of 102mm. The external size is only 254x256mm, which means this sleeve takes up very little space.
The Utilis type 6-fold multichannel has 6 compartments of 102mm with an external size of only 254x365mm. The sleeve can be placed either lying on the 3-compartment side or standing on the 2-compartment side. Thus, it offers a lot of space and yet takes up little space.
The Utilis 9-fold multichannel has no fewer than 9 compartments of 102mm. The external dimension is only 363x367mm, making this sleeve the most optimal future-proof choice. Maximum space gain in the precious, available surface.

Does the Utilis route connect to a traditional casing pipe network? For this, we have transition pieces to 110mm round pipes. Available for the 4-, 6- and 9-pipe versions.
Cable routes do not always run completely straight. Sometimes you make a branch to an electricity point, a drawing pit or you have to go around an obstacle. For this, we have various bends in various gradations. And a standard solution does not suffice? Then we will be happy to make a customised bend for your project. In short, a robust network with maximum flexibility.
In addition to our adapters and elbows, we have several attachments that complete the Utilis multicook system. Here you can think of separate end caps for the different compartments. Or branch pieces to take cable out of the duct at a specific location. You will also come across situations where multi-cokers need to be stacked on top of each other. We have handy spacers for this. For the construction of a future-proof cable route under the platform of Amsterdam Central Station, contractor Dura Vermeer chose our Utilis Multichannel. This system bundles around 160 types of cables, from signal and switch cables to communication and power lines. BAM opts for Utilis at Police Station The Hague
BAM Bouw & Techniek chose our Utilis Multichannel for the new Police Station Den Haag project on the edge of the former industrial area the Binckhorst. This solution allows multiple cables to be fed through safely and separately in a single system, ensuring reliability and flexibility. With a complex of over 48,000 m² due for completion in 2025, robust and future-proof cable routing is essential. This choice resulted in an efficient installation that meets the high demands of this large-scale project and guarantees long-term performance.

Municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn - Pilot bundling of telecom cables
For the new housing project Biezenlanden and reconstruction project Waterrijk-Oost, the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn opted for our Utilis Multichannel and CrossCube Access Chamber. With this solution, telecom cables are bundled into a single system with four compartments, significantly reducing the space required underground. The system is easy to lay, can be driven over and provides flexible house connections even when settling in soft soil. The application leads to less excavation damage and lower repair costs and reduces the risk of failures. The expected lifespan is at least eighty years. The successful pilots pave the way for structural application in future projects.

What is a Utilis multichannel?

By applying rubber sealing, any coupling between two tubes can be made watertight. Of course, proper laying and compaction is required to ensure this also in the subsoil.

The Utilis Multichannel can be seamlessly connected to the CrossCube drawing pits. This creates a total solution where the cable network is not only optimally protected, but also remains accessible from central points for management and maintenance.
